Representatives from the German Ministry visits the Municipality of Cestica

On Thursday August 31st , the Municipality of Cestica was visited by Mr. Ethelbert Babl and Mr. Rainer Hoffmann from the Germany Ministry of Agriculture and Forests, and Ms. Lidija Vitez from the Varaždin Country Development Agency. During the course of the visit, they toured the Bistrović family farm, and later the floriculture company Krizantema. They also toured Mr. Antun Lazar’s wine cellar, and visitded  the view point of Santa Barbara church, where the Haloze – Zagorje region can be seen. The LEADER + programme was discussed, which the Municipality of Cestica can apply for next year (2007). Mr. Mirko Korotaj gave each guests a copy of the History of Cestica as a gift.
